A guy at the laundromat in Reno told me he's been folding his socks the same way since 1987
I was waiting for my dryer and he just started talking about how his mom taught him to ball socks and he never switched. That got me thinking about all the small stuff I picked up from people and never questioned. Like my dad's trick of putting a dry towel in with wet clothes to speed up drying, which I still do 20 years later. What random tip from a stranger or family member are you still using?
