Shoutout to the team that kept digging at the old Roman fort site near Hadrian's Wall

Everyone said the main camp was found, but they kept looking for three more months. They just found a whole new section of barracks a hundred meters out, proving the fort was way bigger. How often do you think we call a site 'done' too early?

Honestly, it happens way more than we admit. Tbh we get excited by the big find and just stop looking. That team proved you have to be stubborn. Ngl it makes you wonder what else we've walked away from.

Yeah, "walked away from" is basically my hobby at this point.

My old boss used to say that, until his stubbornness found a lost shipment in the wrong warehouse.
