Tried binging a 90s mecha anime in one weekend and my brain went static
I sat down last Saturday with a full box of Pocky and that old Gundam wing series I never saw as a kid, thinking I'd knock out all 49 episodes by Sunday night. By episode 30 my eyes were crossing and I started confusing Heero's angst with my own life decisions, like wondering if I should dramatically walk away from my job over a parking ticket. Has anyone else fried their brain trying to catch up on a classic series too fast, or am I just getting too old for this?

Notice how we do the same thing with relationships now too, scrolling through someone's entire life story on social media before we've even had a real conversation. It's like we forgot that good stories are meant to be savored, not inhaled.
