Tried electrolysis on a crusty Roman bronze, wound up with green mush instead
Ran 12 volts through a coin from a Baltimore flea market for 20 minutes and the surface flaked off like dried paint, now I'm wondering if hand cleaning with a toothpick would've been safer for a 3rd century piece, has anyone else had this happen?
