Burned $60 on expired Portra before I learned to test first
Picked up a brick of supposedly cold-stored Portra 400 off a local classifieds ad, shot a whole roll of family stuff, and every frame came out with this weird magenta cast. Turns out the seller kept it in a hot garage for years, and I should have shot one test roll before committing. Anyone else get burned by stored film, or do you always check the edge codes and do a quick bracket test first?
