Appreciation post: Cleaning my spice shelf sparked a new air fryer potato wedge habit
I finally organized my overflowing spice shelf last Thursday. While doing it, I noticed I had a lot of paprika and garlic powder. So I tried coating potato wedges with those and cooked them in the air fryer. They came out so crispy and full of flavor, better than my old way. Now I make them almost every day as a snack. This little home task really changed my routine. Has a simple organization job ever led you to a favorite recipe?

Your "new air fryer potato wedge habit" probably means your spice shelf is a mess again already.

Actually, I find the opposite is true most of the time. That kind of small organization project rarely sticks or leads to anything lasting. It feels good for a day, but then life gets busy again. I cleaned out my pantry last month and swore I'd use all those beans, but they're just sitting there in nice, neat jars. These little sparks of order usually just highlight how messy things are the rest of the time.

My friend Kevin labeled every cord in his house with little tags. By the next week, half of them were tangled in a drawer again.
