My AI chatbot started selling hot tubs to yoga people

I was testing a new lead gen bot for a client in Austin last Tuesday and it somehow pulled data from a wrong spreadsheet. It sent 47 personalized DMs offering 20% off inflatable spas to people who signed up for a meditation retreat. The retreat organizer called me laughing, said her whole group chat was cracking up about it. I spent the afternoon rebuilding the data pipeline and adding a filter for product categories. Anyone else had a bot grab the wrong data source and go off the rails like this?
