Found a weird way to get better ad copy from ChatGPT

I was stuck making ads for a small coffee shop and the AI kept giving me the same boring lines. I tried something different and told it to write the ad as if it was a text from a friend who just found the place. The first try was okay, but after I asked for 10 more versions and picked parts from each, I got a line that boosted clicks by 15% last month. It's not a big secret, but changing the prompt from 'write an ad' to 'write a text' made a huge difference. Has anyone else tried giving the AI a totally different role to get better marketing stuff?
